LocWorld48 Silicon Valley Process Innovation Challenge Call for Papers Closes September 28

The Process Innovation Challenge (PIC) is now in its sixth season, and PIC #13 will appear at LocWorld48, in Silicon Valley, November 1-3, 2022.

This will be the first in-person PIC in the US since the global health pandemic, and we say to all innovators  “Show us your latest innovations in person!” At a time of rapid flux in our industry, have you been working away on something cool, productive or disruptive and would like to share with peers?

Well then, join us at PIC #13 !

The PIC is open to content publishers, industry supply companies, technologists, academia, and anyone else in the industry who has an innovative idea that can solve a localization or global content challenge. Your innovation could be a unique idea that was successfully applied to a localization process that improved operations, or it could be a new way of using something existing to solve a new problem, or it could be a new and cutting-edge technology innovation that brings real benefit to teams. If you have any of these, share them with the localization community by submitting your proposal to the PIC.

Successful proposals will be invited to join a preliminary round where they can pitch their idea and have a chance to get to the PIC final in Silicon Valley. PIC producer Alex Bernet commented, “It was amazing to get back to an in-person PIC in Berlin this July. The standard of innovation was very high and the innovators really inspired the LocWorld audience with a variety of amazing pitches. We are hoping for the same at PIC#13 during LocWorld48. ”

Innovators do not need travel approval to submit and participate in the preliminary rounds of this edition of the Process Innovation Challenge, which will be held virtually. However, upon notification of qualifying for the final round, to be held in person in Silicon Valley on November 2nd, innovators will need travel approval, to be included as a finalist.  If an innovator is unable to attend the final round, they may opt out of this event and forward their proposal for consideration at the next LocWorld.
