
LW47 - PIC#12 - Final RoundThe Final Round of LocWorld's 12th Process Innovation Challenge (PIC) was recorded on July 12, 2022 at the Intercontinental Hotel in Berlin, Germany. This round featured five top innovators pitching their innovations to 4 "Process Dragons" (judges) for the chance to win the "Innovator of the Year - Berlin" award.
This year’s Innovator of the Year Award went to Andrea Ballista of VOISEED and his innovation “Voicing the Unvoiced with Universal #AI #Dubbing“ and our Runner Up was Saurabh Kavathekar of NetApp and his pitch for “Dr. Global - #sourcecode #internationalization #selfhealing using AI.”
The three other finalists were Gary Lefman of Cisco, Robert Brodowicz of Argos Multilingual and Konstantin Savenkov of Intento, Inc. The Process Dragons who helped coach the innovators and evaluate the competition were Bert Esselink of RWS Group, Giulia Tarditi of Qualtrics, Patricia Paladini Adell of Paladini Global and Jochen Hummel of ESTeam AB.

We interviewed Lori Silverstein (Senior Vice President, Sales at SPi Global), who won LocWorld's 7th Process Innovation Challenge (PIC.) The competition was held at LocWorld41 in San Jose, California on November 7, 2019. Lori's innovation on "AI Dubbing... allows users to engage with content in their own language and increases discoverability for content otherwise not available to certain target audiences." We asked her what impact participating and winning the PIC has had on her innovation and SPi Global's business.
