Have you heard of Jira, but have no idea what it is? This talk will give you an overview of Jira for agile software development, and where localization fits in. You’ll learn about different use cases of Jira (software vs. service desk), and what it takes to build a scalable, trackable ticketing system for high-volume localization operations (including localization QA and internationalization bug fixing), all within the engineering environment. We’ll even go over workflow customization, reporting, and SLAs.

Takeaways: Attendees will understand why Jira is a staple for software developers, and how Jira can work for localization project management. They will learn the difference between Jira Software and Jira Service Desk, how to use custom fields, dashboards, and queues, and some basic JQL queries.
