Everybody knows they need data to make decisions. As a language service provider (LSP), you may ask, “Do I need to expand my resource this year?” As a buyer, you may want to know, “Will my suppliers have enough resources available? What is the satisfaction level with all my suppliers?” While operational data reveals what has happened, the experience data explains why things happen and how people react to experiences. By combining them together, we improve the partnering relationship between LSPs and buyers. Both parties can identify and resolve potential issues before they escalate into significant problems. During this presentation, we will talk about the value of both experience and operational data for reporting, predicting, and driving automated activities based on data. The use cases include multisource operational reporting on costs, volume, and performance, LSPs’ capacity planning and buyer project pipeline overview, and feedback program targeting both LSPs and buyer.

Takeaways: Attendees will learn how to make use of X- and O-data in localization project management, and the opportunities and challenges along the journey.
