Build the Bridge between the Japan Market and the Product R&D Team

The importance of localization for the Japanese market cannot be understated. In fact, central research and development (R&D) teams are located remotely from the Japan market in most cases. Therefore, the product localization team has launched a program to engage with major Japanese customers and Japan local teams, including product marketing managers, partner support teams, global customer support teams and sales teams. The goal of the program is to cooperate with R&D teams and satisfy Japanese stakeholders’ requirements, bridge the gap between the Japan market and the R&D product teams to finally contribute to the revenue growth and increase customer loyalty.

Takeaways: Attendees will learn about collecting customers’ insights through interviews with major Japanese customers; partnering with product managers to develop a global strategy per product portfolio; and establishing a seamless process to increase revenue and improve customer satisfaction and a net promoter score.
