The key to building successful global products boils down to delivering value for users. Diverse cultural backgrounds and perspectives play a critical part in how users worldwide interact with products, thus an international-centric perspective embedded in the product development cycle is essential in creating those values. In this session, we will present localization as an enabler for product teams to build better experiences for an international audience. With a collection of programs, efforts, and interactions, we will show how localization can influence product outcomes through a strategic partnership with product teams.
Takeaways: Attendees will be inspired to think beyond the traditional localization value-add by taking in a product perspective and combining various methods and analyses toward a truly local experience. They will be motivated to partner with product teams at an early stage to ensure localization is a critical piece of the product development cycle and measure potential product impact and growth from a better localized experience.
