Software developers use communication tools such as Slack to collaborate around a project. It’s an important trend in software organizations and collaborative tools are replacing email for many types of group conversations. Localization members and development staff can benefit by using the same environments to take quick decisions as a team around specific aspects of development and translation. Furthermore, localization bots can be integrated into the conversations to provide action and information just like any team member and help streamline translation processes from the development world to the translation world.
Takeaways: Attendees will learn how to use technologies to coordinate and automate between localization and development teams.
