An examination of how the emerging discipline of content design (big in the EU government circles and increasingly important in other areas) is impacting how multiple language content is created, managed, translated, stored and delivered in a world in which content is increasingly atomized. Microcontent — meaning tiny pieces of content that appears next to fields in an application or on a device — or short messages sent to consumers from the products they use are often created by people more concerned with design (look-and-feel) than they are concerned about effective communication. This presentation looks at the changes that are needed in our current processes to handle tiny fragments of content and ensure they are managed, localized and delivered properly.
