Information and content are integral parts of every technology. The concept of 4.0 first started by examining how information is dealt with in Industry 4.0 and then expanding it to the high-powered technologies around us. Information 4.0 examines the form, production, interaction and curation of this information component. It also examines the changing and emerging information roles. New information requires new localization approaches and new tools adapted to the new reality. We will explore the information that will be localized in the future, how to deal with it, what tools should be used for it, how to organize the process and how translators have to change their approach to localization.

Takeaways: Context-dependent information is here, and attendees will learn how to change their workflow in order to meet and greet it, that localization will be an integral part of content development and delivery, there will be no more big manuals and long-read texts and small pieces of information must be localized on air.
