The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and ePrivacy rules enforceable since 2018 impact all personal data of EU citizens handled by business-to-business and business-to-consumer companies. For global companies, these new regulations mean important changes related to processing, collecting and using personal data for marketing purposes, influencing all the channels and practices where the processing of that data is involved. In this presentation, we will explain how the new rules influence the way we can reach out to our clients and prospects and share tips from the language solutions perspective related to the content that we manage for our clients.

Takeaways: Attendees will get an overview of GDPR and ePrivacy rules for sales and marketing; an understanding of how to reach out to prospects and clients after May 25, 2018; and useful tips on how to collect consent and store data in line with GDPR.
