During this panel discussion, we will explore the different perspectives on how to identify, nurture and optimize future project management talent. We will share insights on how academia is adapting their localization management curriculum to align to evolving industry needs and discuss the value of initiatives such as internship programs in preparing project manager (PM) candidates for a career in localization. Managers from both the client and language service provider sides will describe their journeys into the PM role, the skills they were equipped with prior, (and those they wish they had been!) and provide their views on how our future PMs can be successful.
Takeaways: Attendees will learn how to select the right talent for future project management roles; what a successful PM looks like and the value they can add to your organization.
