In a world where geography is no longer a direct limiting factor, how software as a service businesses choose to enter new regions — or neglect the opportunity — is largely defined by localization, culture and language. For the past six months, Unbabel has been interviewing businesses of all sizes about the challenges of going global from day one. We will present some of the patterns and findings which will cover topics such as: when, how and why should you enter new territories; the balance of the challenge between language, culture and other factors; and using localization to find demand.
