Global end users require unambiguous information. Only in this way can they be enabled to perform certain tasks. But how can translation act as just one piece in the entire mosaic of the information process, in the best possible way and for the benefit of the end user? At best, translation is directly integrated and accompanies the information throughout the entire process. How granular is the initially created information? How is the terminology created? Will the information be printed later or presented interactively with augmented reality glasses? Will the information be visualized later in semantic networks and become interconnected? The possibilities of influencing all these questions will be presented by using an illustrative example.

Takeaways: Attendees will get answers to questions such as what could an information life cycle look like in the future? What are the current possible applications? What are the advantages of taking a holistic approach to technical information?
