Localization teams have been asked to just plug in a commercial translation engine many times. What seems an obvious speedy and cost-effective solution looks like a disaster for many localization professionals. But, if the machine translation (MT) can be efficiently reviewed by humans, including context, why not give the developers what they’d like? Additionally, there’s the opportunity for corrections to go back to the MT corpus or translation memory, bringing continuous improvements. In this session, we will demonstrate a patented lean localization technology and process enabling continuous MT, human translation review, and in-application linguistic review updates.

Takeaways: Attendees will hear thought-provoking ways that an efficient linguistic quality assurance review, with streamlined correction, makes big gains in speed and accuracy possible.
