Boardgames and printed material are always complicated to localize and this process is even more complex for Trading Card Game (TCG) localization as they contain only text and art. This talk delves into the strategic shift required to globalize the localization process behind the 2023 TCG Disney Lorcana. We explore the importance of focus on leveraging technology, engaging linguists, and incorporating local stakeholders.
