The behind-the-scenes story of how Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora was localized. We plan to highlight our asset management tools, our text and audio localization pipeline (including the “journey of a text string” from its inception in the Snowdrop engine to translated versions in-game), and QA tools (such as advanced debug modes to empower LQA testers). Additionally, we will discuss key project takeaways, the future of AAA games localization, the merits of embedding a Localization team into the development team vs. Localization as a service, and more. This will be a media-heavy presentation with many videos and images.
