Synopsis: Previous LocWorld panels have looked at how participants have managed their own challenges of mental and physical health. The pressures have continued to build: isolation from remote work, layoffs, a wave of imposter syndrome as AI technology merges with localization technology faster than we can try to understand it. Panelists will discuss how they have led organizations when team members were under stress and struggling to deal with issues of mental health.

Takeaways

Participants will learn strategies for leading teams when team members are struggling with mental health. Topics will include how leading with vulnerability and compassion can help a team; how to balance issues of privacy, company regulations, and personal need; how to understand the expectations and wishes of a person in a mental health crisis; and how to maintain your own mental health so you can help others maintain theirs.
