The leverage loss myth is looming ahead every time someone considers translation management system replacement. Most people know that leverage loss is all the risks rooting from translation memory (TM) import, filters, tags, and segmentation. Often, these technology aspects are the farthest we look. We are afraid to ask about the temporal financial impact and calculate complex metrics that could support business owners to make the best decisions. In this presentation, we will bust some of the myths around these robust leverage loss metrics. We aim to show how to combine data, math, and technical wizardry to calculate such metrics and provide monthly breakdowns of estimated financial impact.
