Using an interactive workshop format, this panel of experts will focus on how to develop a community supporting different causes — from thought leadership, standardization and education to fundraising. While concentrating on localization and its associations, the three panelists will share examples from their industries as well as governmental institutions and nonprofit organizations. In addition, they will comment on how to break through communication barriers and bring together volunteers to help launch new ideas. Finally, they will give tips on how to network and build your own personal brand, as well as brand awareness for your associations or causes.

Takeaways: Attendees will learn how to bring people together and create a sense of community (thought leadership, public relations, networking and building relationships both online and offline), how to be more participative within the language services industry, giving confidence to newcomers to spread their wings — how to recognize your own potential and build your personal brand in the community (networking, influencers, thought leadership of tomorrow).
