The Translation Bureau’s modernized vision will make the organization a center of excellence in linguistic services for the Government of Canada and globally. They are optimizing its language technology to ensure quality, enhance productivity and to improve client service. Partnerships with technology leaders in artificial intelligence and neural machine translation are key to success. The Translation Bureau will provide Canadians with real-time access to quality government content by using new and innovative internal translation processes that are cost effective and highly productive. Automation and content management systems capable of learning to improve probabilities of redundancy will be essential to support translation professionals in a fast-paced environment and the unique context of Canadian bilingualism.
