LocWorld’s Process Innovation Challenge (PIC) returns to the stage and the bright lights in Berlin, Germany on July 12th, 2022. The competition has been entirely virtual since May of 2020 but will be held in person again this summer as part of LocWorld47 Berlin. The PIC has grown and evolved as an incubator for innovation in the localization industry through the pandemic and three LocWorldWide virtual events, reaching a larger virtual audience. Getting back to the in-person competition will allow the Process Dragons the opportunity to once again pose questions to the innovators in front of a live audience. Innovators will pitch to four Process Dragons during the three preliminary rounds on June 1st and 2nd for a chance to advance to the final round.
There have been 122 innovators representing 26 different countries who have competed in previous editions of the PIC, There are 19 more innovators who have entered for a chance to win “Innovator of the Year” in Berlin. The Process Dragons will make the hard decision of which six innovators will advance to the final round, to be announced on June 3 on the PIC website. The public is invited to attend the preliminary virtual rounds for free on zoom (details will be published soon) but to attend the final in-person round in Berlin, attendees will need to be registered for LocWorld47 Berlin.
