Rarely do startups or any later-stage companies think about localization from day one. It’s most often an afterthought. And will be. In a series of micro-segments on user experience (UX), internationalization, product-owning localization and localization of marketing we will focus on the reverse maturity model, reverse engineering and retrofitting localization back into the production chain. We will demonstrate concrete ways of getting the minimum viable localization thinking, describe the journey from a point of no return to least painful reintegration of localization into marketing, UX and engineering practices.
Takeaways: Attendees will learn how to integrate internationalization into project and release activities, how to include localization into design thinking and how not to reach the point of no return and end up on localization’s reverse maturity model.
