Many software companies are facing the evolution of adopting agile software development into localization management to increase efficiency and cost control. The left-shifting approach is the important part of agile and localization. The agile software development life cycle is a continuum moving from left to right — design, develop, test — which means more effort is shifted left or earlier in the process. If we can create the design early and select the right development, test and localization method from the beginning, we can improve the software localization capability, quality and costs.
