In this session we will dive deep into the issues surrounding compressed timelines (48 hours from recording to live) for programs; from the translation of metadata to content into 26 languages. We will discuss how to deliver high-quality products amidst the churn of hundreds of assets within extremely compressed timelines. We will explore tools, workflows and roadblocks as well as developing technologies that Netflix uses to assure timely deliveries.

Takeaways: Attendees will learn about the use of new technologies (automatic speech recognition [ASR], machine translation, Key Names and Phrases [KNP] tool integration, flexible translation pipelines); workflow between metadata and content translation; and takeaways from translating talk shows.
