In this two-part workshop, we will first discuss common challenges for enterprise terminology management and how we can overcome them. We will dive into issues like how to argue the need for terminology, how to reconcile the demands of different departments, and how to win sponsors. Plus, we will investigate future potentials for terminology management and how we can use them to further the cause. Based on the concept of terminology as the single source of truth, we will explore possibilities of AI, ontologies, taxonomies, or SEO to name just a few, and how our companies are aware of these potentials, and act accordingly.
