Terminology management is an essential part of effective internal and external communications, knowledge transfer, risk mitigation, content management and translation. The TBX framework of terminology markup languages defined by the international and industry standard TermBase eXchange (TBX) is designed to support processing, representation and exchange of terminology. The development of the next version is nearing completion and includes some much-anticipated changes. In this session, attendees will learn about important advances in the new version, implementation resources and practical information on how they can make the next generation TBX work for their terminology needs.

Takeaways: Attendees will gain insights into how the 2008 version of TBX is being modernized and how the new features of TBX can ensure interoperability in the use of terminology data.
