Going global is something many companies aspire to in order to grow, but it’s not always easy to know where to start. Breaking into new markets usually requires a localized product, but how do you decide which markets to localize for? Learn more about how to use data for decision-making, how to make hard decisions and defend them to stakeholders and how to actually implement a new interface language from selecting a new language and getting copy localized to organizing all teams involved to be ready for the deploy.
Takeaways: Attendees will learn how to analyze relevant data enough before making the decision to implement new interface languages; how to avoid unnecessary localization costs by choosing the best way to localize, making hard decisions, including not implementing a new language and no longer supporting languages that are not profitable; and how to project-manage the implementation of new interface languages as a rough guide on how to stay organized working with multiple teams across a company.
