Abdoulaye Barry is from Guinea in West Africa but currently resides in Portland, Oregon, where he works on special projects for the finance department of a healthcare organization. He is a founding member and board member of the Winden Jangen Organization and a cocreator of the Adlam alphabet. Abdoulaye is doing research on the different Fulani dialects and has written and translated books on grammar, religion, short stories and current topics.
