Anna Schlegel is senior director of information engineering and globalization at NetApp. Much of her time is spent focusing on the right content reaching the right people, when, where and how they need it, in the language they prefer — their own. Anna has led globalization teams for over 20 years with large enterprises including Cisco, VMware, Xerox and NetApp, and for two localization vendors as the CEO and general manager. Anna is a respected leader in the globalization community and her work has been published on many research industry forums. She frequently delivers lectures, webinars, keynotes and round tables at universities, corporations and other international organizations. Anna is the author of Truly Global, The Theory and Practice of Bringing Your Company to International Markets (2016, FriesenPress). She’s also the cofounder of Women in Localization and the chair of Women in Technology at NetApp. She is the recipient of the 2017 Women Worth Watching in STEM Award by the Diversity Journal.
