Barbara Krupa is the staff language manager for Polish at LinkedIn. For the past seven years she has worked on localization of the company features and products onsite and managed the team of Polish translators working remotely. Barbara manages the process of certification emails and notifications sent to LinkedIn members globally in 23 languages. She has worked in the localization industry since 2008, providing testing and translation services for major high-tech companies in Silicon Valley: Seagate, Cisco, Apple and Sony. Barbara holds a master’s degree in library and information science from both the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn, Poland, and San Jose State. In Poland she worked as a librarian, then a journalist.
