Freelance Game Localization Specialist

Belén Agulló García graduated in translation and interpreting studies in 2011 and has been working in the game localization industry ever since. She started as a translator and reviewer, then became a project manager and finally a translation manager. Belén started a successful company with an amazing team where she was the quality assurance and innovation manager, devoting her time to ensure quality within all projects, coordinating teams and designing processes to keep improving. Now, she is a freelance game localization specialist, focused on consultancy for best practices and workflows, localization technology and training. Belén is currently a professor for a specialized course in game localization and is getting ready to start her PhD this year. She likes video games, Netflix, cats, traveling, poetry, teaching game localization, researching and being disruptive from time-to-time.
