Christian has a Master’s in Translation Studies and is fluent in English, German, Italian and Japanese. During the early days of his translator career, he devoloped a strong interest in terminology management as it was fundamental for his every day work in patent translation for the EPO. At the same time, Christian also delved deep into deep learning to understand and customize his own NMT solutions. In 2022 he joined Kaleidoscope as a technical consultant and has since worked in various machine learning and AI-projects for terminology extraction, terminology augmented generation and machine translation. He currently leads the AI team at Kaleidoscope.
