Maria Gabriela Morales graduated as an English and French translator and interpreter. Her initial career as a translator included international clients such as Deloitte & Touche, Xerox, and Dell Computers. In 1995, Gabriela became director of operations of the translation centers of Lazoski, Beninatto y Associados, Language Management International, and Berlitz GlobalNET in Argentina. In 2000, she founded her own localization company, Rosario Traducciones y Servicios. Gabriela is an active player in the localization industry, both locally and internationally. In 2008, she was elected to Gala’s board of directors and was the first Latin American member to hold a position on the board. In 2017, she cofounded Translated in Argentina (TinA), Argentina’s localization industry association, and she served as the first president from 2017-2019. Gabriela is also a mentor for the local translator association in Rosario.
