Ivy Diaz serves as a program manager III in the health equity department at Health Net, California. She oversees the plan’s language assistance program (LAP), which provides culturally and linguistically appropriate interpretation and translation services for 2.8 million members across all California lines of business. In addition to the LAP, Ivy conducts workgroups and trainings on topics including the LAP, gender neutral language, video remote interpretation, and provider resources. She received a BA in human biology, with a concentration in medical ethics from Stanford University, and a master’s degree in public health from UCLA.
