James Lin spearheads localization operations within the Uber Localization team. His role is to optimize and expedite the translation pipeline. He accomplishes this by implementing machine translation (MT), machine learning (ML), and automated translation job assignments via vendor-neutral models. James began his career in localization as an internationalization engineer at Symantec and has been serving in the localization industry for more than twenty years. He possesses experience from both the development and program management perspectives.
