Previously a product localization lead at Meta (Facebook/Instagram), she is passionate about working at the intersection of language and human-centered design. Mercedes previously presented at LocWorld41 Silicon Valley on the topic of testing language patterns and user tone preferences in user experience research. She speaks three languages, is originally from Germany, and lives in Brooklyn with her rescue dog.
