Miriam Moyano Reifenrath is a Senior Localization Program Manager at Riot Games. Since joining Riot in 2020, she has played a pivotal role in transforming localization practices and driving strategic innovation. Miriam’s career began in 2013 as a translator, and she has since worked as a project manager, operations manager, localization producer, and program manager. She has coordinated localization efforts across various game and around-game projects.

Her dedication and expertise have earned her several accolades, including first prize for incorporating a gender perspective in her master’s thesis on voice-over localization at the University of Vigo, which she also presented at the Valencia-Napoli Colloquium on Gender and Translation in 2016. Most recently, in June 2024, she participated in two panel discussions, “Working in Multicultural Teams” and “Building the Case for Localization,” at the Game Quality Forum in Amsterdam.

Miriam is also deeply committed to inclusion and diversity and is one of the founding co-leads of Riot Games’ first Disability & Neurodiversity employee resource group.
