Nancy Gauthier is the vice president of business strategies and partnerships of the Translation Bureau of Canada. Nancy has acquired extensive experience in web accessibility, artificial intelligence for language technologies, business development, business reengineering and online learning solutions at various government organizations, including the Canada School of Public Service and the Department of National Defence, as well as in the private sector. Her accomplishments at the Translation Bureau earned her a Public Service Award of Excellence and recognition in the Transforming the Business of Government category at the GTEC conference, an event that promotes innovation and excellence in the public sector. As part of her duties, Nancy plays an important leadership role in the implementation of the Bureau’s technology program and the strategic reengineering program, which is closely linked to the government’s mandate to encourage and optimize the use of emerging innovative technology and building capacity in support of the Canadian language industry. She is also responsible for building partnerships and fostering close relationships with the language industry, associations and academia.
