Peng Wang started to do corpus-based translation studies in 2003 at the University of Liverpool. In 2009, she worked in the Corpus Linguistic Program at the Northern Arizona University. Peng’s main research interest is the role of technology and database management in translation and localization. She has authored two books and published over a dozen papers. Peng is a frequent speaker at academic and professional conferences and organizations worldwide. Her PhD thesis is entitled Harry Potter and Its Chinese Translation.
