Sara is doctoral research student at the Centre for Translation Studies (CTS), University of Surrey, with almost 15 years of experience in the localization industry. She has worked as a marketing translator, subtitler and lead linguist in both in-house and freelance positions across the industry. She is passionate about conducting academically rigorous research with maximal relevance to the real world of commercial translation and localization. Her PhD project examines the present and future of marketing translation services through a combination of quantitative and qualitative research methods.
