Steve Lank is the CEO of Denver-based Cesco Linguistic Services. He has worked in the language services industry since 1987, having started out as a translator, then project manager, and subsequently holding senior management positions with language service providers in the US, Ireland, and Spain. Steve served as chairman of the subcommittee that developed ASTM F2575 Standard Guide for Quality Assurance in Translation and recently shepherded the update (now the Standard Practice for Language Translation) to approval. Steve also teaches in the graduate studies in interpreting and translation program at the University of Maryland and earned his MA in Spanish translation and interpretation from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey.
