Payments for Registration

Payments are due within 14 days of registration. A registration is not considered confirmed until payment is received. Payments for discounted rates are due in 14 days or by the last day of the discount period, whichever is sooner. If a discounted invoice is not paid by the end of the discount period, the invoice will be voided and a new invoice will be issued for the amount of the next registration fee. As an example, this would happen if an “early bird” registration is not paid before the time regular registration prices go into effect.

All registrations must be paid for by the start of the conference.

All registration prices are subject to the local taxes (VAT, GST) where the conference will be held. Virtual conferences and gatherings are based in the USA, and there are no national sales taxes applied.

Payments may be made by credit card, bank transfer, or check.

Attendee Cancellation

You may cancel your attendance and receive a refund as follows:

•       Up to four weeks before the conference: a refund minus a $50 administration fee.
•       Within four weeks prior to the conference, 50% refund minus a $50 administration fee.
•       You may transfer your registration to another attendee. Transfer requests must be received by LocWorld () as soon as possible, and before the start of the event.

Force Majeure

In the event of fire, flood or without limit other causes that LocWorld reasonably believes to be substantial or that are beyond its control, LocWorld reserves the right to change the times, dates and the venue of the conference, without incurring any liability to the participants. If the conference is canceled, all registered attendees will be notified by email as soon as possible, and all registration fees will be refunded. LocWorld is not liable for travel expenses.

At the Conference

Attendees are required to wear their conference badges for all conference events. All attendees must comply with the stated health policies enforced at the venue. LocWorld reserves the right to remove an attendee who poses a security or health risk.

Photos and Videos

By registering for and attending a LocWorld conference, you give permission to LocWorld to record your image for marketing purposes.

Privacy Policy

We do not sell or otherwise disclose personal information about our attendees. To facilitate networking, you will be entered in the LocWorld app for the conference. You may adjust your privacy settings in the app.
