The #1 conference for localization professionals, networking, and industry innovation

JUNE 9-11, 2026
CALL FOR PAPERS

Call for Papers: LocWorld55 Dublin, Ireland
From Chaos to Order
Bringing Human Intelligence to Technology
We face it at every angle: artificial intelligence is everywhere – with dire predictions adding to the general unease of where this is all going. The landscape is indeed chaotic, with tentacles reaching into most industries, threatening previous business practices and careers. But, perhaps we should look at this as civil rights activist Septima Poinsette Clark did: “I have great belief in the fact that whenever there is chaos, it creates wonderful thinking. I consider chaos a gift.”
So, what do we do with this “gift”? How do we bring human intelligence to this chaos, this technology? The localization industry is perfectly positioned to accomplish this: we are in the business of transforming raw technological capability into culturally relevant, trusted human experiences. We have responded to leaps in technology before. Can we do this again? We see the chance to show our relevance on a much larger scale. But how? What steps should we take at this point to accomplish “order” in this technological landscape?
This theme is presented as a suggestion to encourage you to consider what you have to share about topics that live in this area. It is not meant to restrict the content of the conference. We invite presenters to submit proposals that also might fit within the areas listed below.
