If you are in the area on Monday afternoon, and would like to start networking while stretching your legs, please join us for the LocWalk & Talk! Meet at the Marriott lobby at 2:00 pm. Wear your walking shoes and be prepared to enjoy good company with great scenery!

Newbie Event

Monday, October 13 – 5:00-7:00pm

If you are already in Monterey, please join us in the pay-as-you-go Newbie Welcome! This informal gathering is a great way for first-timers to “learn the ropes” of LocWorld, for veterans to share their knowledge, and for everyone to start making connections! Details of the location will be in your conference app.

Opening Reception

Let’s kickoff the conference with a celebration!

Tuesday, October 14 – 6:30pm – 8:30pm

The Opening Reception is the perfect place to meet fellow attendees, connect with industry leaders, schedule conference meetings, and get to know new attendees. The reception offers drinks, canapés, and friendly conversation and is open to all main conference attendees. Haven’t made it to the conference registration desk before the reception? No worries, the registration desk will be there, so you can pick up your badge and start networking. Getting to the hotel late? With the reception next door to the conference hotel at the Monterey Conference Center, you can drop your bags and join the party.

Your badge is your admission ticket. Remember to wear it!
All conference attendees are invited to join us for the opening reception, which is included as part of the registration.

Conference Dinner

Enjoy a relaxing evening with fellow attendees

Wednesday, October 15 – 6:30pm – 9:30pm

Location: San Carlos Ballroom, Marriott and Steinbeck Lobby, Monterey Conference Center

Our reception before dinner will start at 6:30 pm and will be held at the Monterey Conference Center Steinbeck Lobby and Stevenson Terrace, and will last until 7:30 pm.

From there we will transition to the LocWorld conference dinner at the Mariott San Carlos Ballroom. The conference dinner is always the best time to network! This is your time to chat with fellow attendees in a relaxed setting and with food and beverages that will encourage interesting, memorable, and fruitful conversations. With the dinner being held at the hotel, you can arrive and leave on your own schedule.

All main conference attendees are invited to join us for the conference dinner, which is included as part of the registration. Your conference badge is your dinner ticket and must be worn to be admitted.

After Dinner Event

Networking continues and the dance floor awaits you

Wednesday, October 15 – 9:30pm – 11:00pm

Ready to continue the networking and conversation after the conference dinner? The evening doesn’t end with the close of dinner! Join us in a relaxed atmosphere with live music; drinks provided thanks to an open bar, dancing shoes optional. Be sure to wear your badge at the entrance!
