The language industry is overwhelmingly female and yet, men are over-represented in top positions. There are various reasons for this, but one thing isn’t really talked about: at the age when women come closer to top roles, they also have to deal with fun stuff like erratic sleep, physical discomfort and brain fog. Which can make things tricky when trying to influence the C-suite.
