Over a year ago, with the neural revolution in full swing, we took a close look at what this change in machine translation (MT) technology meant for our business and production model. Starting point: quality. In this session we will present the assessment model we devised for the evaluation of neural machine translation (NMT) available from our MT provider, Google, and based on the evaluation findings, how and to what results we implemented our NMT plan. We will also discuss our efforts to measure NMT quality on an ongoing basis, which helps us expand the scope of NMT implementation in the project.
