What is the difference between a TMS and a managed TMS? A translation management system (TMS) can be sold either as software only, with services limited to software implementation, training and technical support; or as a managed TMS, where the vendor manages the TMS in addition to providing linguistic services. In addition to looking at the differences, we will also discuss why clients choose a managed TMS versus software only, what the benefits are for the clients and how the implementation process differs. One of our managed TMS clients will share their experiences and feedback on such a solution.
Takeaways: Attendees will have a better understanding of the differences between TMS only and managed TMS and how they can benefit from one or the other, then identify the most suitable for their organization based on actual clients’ insights.
