Charlotte Tesselaar leads Elsevier’s Globalization and Localization Solutions (GLoSS) team, the central function providing localization technology, infrastructure, and expertise to teams across the business. Her team supports over 45 product and content teams across 30+ language pairs, enabling global scale through shared platforms, language data, and AI-enabled processes within a distributed, self-service model.
Acting as a bridge between technology, content, and operations, she focuses on building reusable foundations, increasing consistency and leverage, and ensuring AI-driven localization delivers meaningful value through the right combination of infrastructure, data, and human expertise.
