Farmehr Farhour is the co-founder and CTO of Kara Technologies, where he leads a team of engineers, linguists, and artists building AI-driven digital avatars to make content accessible in sign language at scale. With an academic background in computer science and AI from Auckland University and Georgia Tech, his focus has been to bridge language, culture, and technology across education, transport, and entertainment. A bilingual English–Farsi speaker with working knowledge of New Zealand Sign Language, Farmehr brings a global perspective to localization and accessibility challenges.
