Jourik Ciesielski holds a Master’s degree in Translation and a Postgraduate Certificate in Specialized Translation from KU Leuven (Belgium). He began his career in 2013 as an intern at Yamagata Europe in Ghent, where his strong interest in language technology led him to become Chief Technology Officer.
In 2020, he founded his own company, C-Jay International, focusing on technology consulting, engineering, and market research. His work centers around implementing translation technology, deploying AI solutions, and optimizing workflows, with a specialization in automation, integrations, TMS, and data standardization. In 2025, he embarked on a new CTO role at ELAN Languages.
